Spay/Neuter
At Farms Veterinary Clinic, we understand the importance of responsible pet ownership, which includes providing the best care for your beloved furry friends. We would like to take a moment to explain the procedures of spaying and neutering, as they are commonly recommended for pets. Spaying refers to the surgical removal of the ovaries and uterus in female pets, while neutering involves the surgical removal of the testicles in male pets. These procedures are performed under general anesthesia, ensuring that your pets are comfortable and free from pain during the surgery.
After the surgery, your pets will be able to go home the same day. However, the exact time of discharge can vary for each individual patient. We strive to monitor them post-surgery for as long as possible to ensure there are no post-anesthetic complications. We understand the worries and concerns owners may have, so we want to assure you that our dedicated team will be with your pets throughout the day. Please expect your pets to potentially be here until close to our clinic's closing hours, which may vary. Rest assured that our priority is the well-being of your pets, and we want to provide them with the best care possible.
Please note that the prices for spaying and neutering services vary based on your pet's weight, species, and sex. Furthermore, we would like to inform you that these services are only offered to established patients of our clinic. If you are a new client with a new patient, we kindly ask you to visit our website and complete the New Client Registration Form. By doing so, you can ensure that your pet receives the necessary care they deserve as part of our veterinary family.
Thank you for choosing our clinic for your pet's healthcare needs. We are committed to providing exceptional care and look forward to serving you and your furry companions.
