Farms Veterinary Clinic is open, with normal hours of operation and full services, during the stay at home advisory that went into effect March 24.
Per the stay at home advisory, veterinary practices like ours are still needed to provide essential services, and to continue to do that, we need to keep you and our team healthy by minimizing your exposure as well as theirs.
In an effort to maintain social distancing we are performing curbside care. We are asking clients to please wait in their car and call when you arrive for your appointment. A staff member will speak with you over the phone to collect the pet history and then come to your vehicle, wearing appropriate protective equipment, to take your pet inside for the exam. The doctor will call you to go over results and recommendations, and the front desk will contact you by phone to pay for your visit. We need to minimize the occurrence of clients entering the building; on the rare occasion you are asked to enter the building we ask you to maintain a six foot distance from staff.
For Clients who call in for a prescription - you will receive a call when the prescription is ready for pickup. We ask that you pay over the phone and we will leave the prescription outside on the door for pick up.
We are actively reinforcing the preventative measures outlined by the CDC. While we always follow stringent cleaning policies, especially during times of seasonal illness, we have enhanced our cleaning protocols to give focused attention to all surfaces, equipment and common areas including our reception and front desk areas as well as the exam rooms.
Additionally, we urge all clients to please follow CDC health hygiene guidelines before visiting the clinic. If you must enter the office we will ask that you sanitize your hands with gel hand sanitizer available in the lobby upon entering and exiting the office.
And, we know people are getting new pets while they are staying at home, puppies/kittens and adult pets alike, we welcome you to call us to schedule an appointment!
Thank you!
