Anesthesia

Pets have to be put under anesthesia for a variety of reasons, and for procedures like dentals that unlike us they will not naturally sit still, and our doctors do their best to make sure that your pet has a safe anesthetic episode.  They use the best possible combination of drugs and individualize each protocol to that particular patient based on exam, risk factors, and blood work.  We also have excellent monitoring capabilities to carefully watch over your pet during anesthesia.  These include ECG, pulse oximeter, fluid pumps, and blood pressure monitoring devices to maintain an even plane of anesthesia.
